What is CBD?
CBD (or Cannabidiol) is a natural plant substance found in hemp (or Cannabis Sativa L), belonging to the family of Cannabinoid molecules. Cultivated on all continents for millennia, hemp is among the oldest wild and cultivated plants on the planet. Among the hundred Cannabinoids present in hemp, THC and CBD are the two best-known molecules and also the most active on our body. Unlike THC, CBD is not at all mind-altering (or psychotropic), meaning that consuming CBD causes no intoxicating or hallucinogenic effects; for this reason, CBD is not considered a narcotic or a toxic substance.
CBD is an active molecule with many interesting properties for our metabolism, and it is commonly used in various industries, such as cosmetics, food, and medicine. Now, worldwide, scientists and doctors are closely studying the many properties of CBD to better understand the full therapeutic potential of the molecule. The WHO (World Health Organization) has already attributed a long list of potential properties to it: Pain relief, Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antipsychotic, Antidepressant, anxiety reduction, Decongestant, Nerve protection. In France and Europe, we can now find CBD in a multitude of forms: Capsules, Pills, Flowers, E-liquids (or Vape), Oils, Oil sprays, Pure crystals, Cosmetics (creams, balms, gels, …), but also drinks (cold or infusions) or candies (often called Gummies). There are also CBD oils and candies specially made for pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses) to help them daily fight anxiety, stress, improve coat condition, or reduce muscle pain.
What are the benefits of CBD?
The human body is equipped with an endocannabinoid system that regulates some of our essential biological functions such as sleep, appetite, anxiety, mood, and physical pain. Cannabidiol has the particularity of stimulating our CB1 and CB2 receptors connected to the nervous system. Consuming CBD would thus allow our body to better regulate these primary biological functions.
According to various recent scientific studies (such as the study conducted by the WHO in 2018), Cannabidiol or CBD would have many promising properties for medical research (pain reduction, anxiety decrease, cancer risk reduction, mood improvement, immune system support, metabolic balance, sleep disorder reduction, depression decrease, arthritis prevention, and treatment of certain skin diseases). These results need to be confirmed, and many researchers and laboratories continue to explore this still little-known molecule in France to better understand it and make use of its properties. The studies also mention some side effects following CBD consumption, admittedly minor and mild but real in some subjects, such as low blood pressure, tiredness, dry mouth, and slowed motor functions.
According to many laboratory studies, CBD would therefore have beneficial properties for health. However, current French law forbids attributing healing virtues to the CBD molecule, which is not considered a medicine. We advise you to discuss it with your regular doctor before regularly consuming products containing CBD.
What do Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum mean?
Broad Spectrum
The CBD oils known as Broad Spectrum are made solely from raw CBD oil extract and contain a large number of cannabinoids such as CBD, CBDa, CBG, CBN, CBC. The spectrum can also be broadened through the decarboxylation process of the oil, which is possible after extracting the raw oil. Decarboxylation involves gently heating the raw CBD oil extract to make it more “bioavailable.” Warming the active components present in the oil (cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids) makes them more easily absorbed by the body; the heat also helps transform some molecules that remained inactive into additional active components. Broad Spectrum CBD Oils contain 0% THC.
Full Spectrum
The CBD oils known as Full Spectrum consist of all the molecules naturally present in hemp. Thus, all cannabinoid molecules, including CBD but also CBDa, CBV, CBG, CBN, CBC, as well as terpenes and flavonoids, are present in Full Spectrum oils. Full Spectrum CBD Oils available in France and the European Union must contain, to be compliant, an insignificant percentage of THC below 0.2%.

Are all the offered products lawful?
All products offered on our site CBD-Certified.com are fully lawful and comply with the laws in force in France and within the European Union.
Thus, raw products (flowers, resins) all contain a THC level below 0.2%, in accordance with the laws in force in France and the EU. Finished products (Oils, Capsules, Gummies, Vapes, ...) all contain a THC level considered to be 0%.
The analysis certificates carried out by approved and independent laboratories, which certify the THC and CBD levels of each product, are displayed on the site on each product page and can be shown to the authorities if needed.

How to properly preserve my products?
Keep your products in a dry place, at room temperature, away from direct light (for example, in a drawer, a cupboard, or a bag), and in their original sealed packaging.
Raw products (flowers, resins, rocks) should follow the same advice, and always be kept in their original bag tightly sealed or any other container suitable for the product's volume, ideally made of glass or metal and tightly sealed to prevent the product from drying out quickly when exposed to air.
Which delivery areas are served?
We deliver orders through our shipping partners Colissimo and DHL throughout Mainland France, Corsica and Overseas Territories, and across the entire European Union (except Slovakia), in Switzerland and the United Kingdom (UK). Usual delivery times are 2 to 4 days in Europe and 5 to 8 days in the Overseas Territories.
What is the delivery time?
All products available for sale on CBD-Certified.com are in stock. Confirmed orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 48 working hours following their confirmation (upon receipt of payment) and delivered within 1 to 3 working days after shipping, by La Poste, Colissimo, or another partner carrier depending on the parcel's weight and your delivery address
Is the delivered package discreet?
No mention of CBD appears on the packages. The shipped products are protected in recyclable wrappings, suited to their size, sturdy and discreet, without any indication of their contents.
How to return items that do not suit me?
Return Procedure
You have a maximum period of 14 days from the delivery of the concerned product to make a return request (exchange or refund).
To make a return request (exchange or refund), please write to us at contact@cbd-certified.com stating your name, your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the nature of your request for each product (exchange or refund).
You will then receive, within a maximum of 72 hours, an email confirming the acceptance or refusal of your request. If your request is accepted, a link allowing you to print your return shipping label will be included in the email. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customers, except in the case of an order delivered incorrectly.
Conditions for Accepting Returns
For a return request to be accepted, it must meet all the following conditions:
- The return request must be complete (specifying the customer's name, the order number, the product(s) to be returned, and the nature of your request for each returned product (exchange or refund).
- The return request must be sent by email to contact@cbd-certified.com within a maximum of 14 days from the delivery of the concerned product(s).
- The returned products must be complete, packed in their original intact packaging, and must not have been used or opened. A return request for a product that has been used or opened cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
