Cannabinoids
Broad Spectrum CBD oil contains phytocannabinoids such as CBG, CBN or CBC. There are different types of extraction such as oil-based extraction, solvent-based extraction or CO2 extraction.
Broad Spectrum oils are most often consumed directly sublingually for an almost immediate effect. They can also be consumed orally in culinary preparations. Difference from Full Spectrum
Our Broad Spectrum products differ from full spectrum CBD oil in their composition. All THC is removed through a specific extraction process. So, unlike full spectrum CBD oil, Broad Spectrum CBD oil does not contain traces of THC.
Broad Spectrum CBD oil is extracted from all parts of the cannabis plant: flowers, leaves, seeds and stems. After extraction, Broad Spectrum oil undergoes a final refining stage to remove all THC. CBD is legal in Europe if the THC level present in CBD products is less than 0.3%. Broad Spectrum oils therefore do not contain 0% THC and are entirely legal. Broad Spectrum CBD oil requires a refining step to remove the THC, but all other elements are preserved, unlike isolated CBD oil.
Choosing your Broad Spectrum Oil
The percentage of CBD present in a bottle of Broad Spectrum oil depends on the concentration that is mentioned. There are Broad Spectrum oils with a low CBD concentration of 5%, and oils with a high CBD concentration of 40%. A 5% CBD oil contains 500mg of cannabidiol per 10ml of oil. A 40% oil contains 4000mg per 10ml of oil.
