Lemon Green Tea Infusion
The Mind CBD Refresh infusion is based on a simple philosophy: three quality ingredients are enough. Chun Mee green tea is a Chinese green tea variety known for its naturally lemony aromas and light taste. Combined with organic lemon zest and 25% CBD hemp flowers, it makes a lively, fresh and aromatic infusion, without unnecessary added flavourings.
An important preparation point: Chun Mee green tea should be infused at 80-85°C maximum. Water that is too hot oxidises the tannins and makes the drink bitter. At 80-85°C, the natural aromas are fully released for a fresh, lemony cup without astringency. For optimal absorption of CBD, add a dash of whole milk or a spoonful of coconut oil: as CBD is fat-soluble, its bioavailability is improved in the presence of fat.

Why add a fat to a CBD infusion?

Does this infusion contain caffeine?
Yes. Chun Mee green tea naturally contains caffeine, in moderate amounts compared with coffee or black tea. This makes it an ideal drink for an energising break during the day, without overstimulation. Not recommended in the evening for people sensitive to caffeine.
Why not exceed 85°C for this infusion?
Chun Mee green tea is a delicate tea. Water that is too hot (above 85°C) oxidises the tannins and makes the drink bitter and astringent. At 80-85°C, the tea releases its natural aromas gently and evenly, for a fresh, lemony cup without bitterness.
Is this infusion THC-free?
The CBD hemp flowers used contain less than 0.3% THC, in accordance with French and European legislation. This product has no psychotropic effect and can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Can I make this infusion as an iced tea?
Yes. For an iced version, prepare your infusion with 50% of the usual amount of hot water at 80°C. Once infused and strained, top up with 50% cold water, then add ice cubes. You get an ultra-refreshing lemon green tea CBD iced tea.
