CBD in Sardinia: the best CBD shops
Article updated on October 11, 2026
Where to buy CBD in Sardinia?
In Sardinia, CBD shops are mainly found in Cagliari, Sassari, Olbia and Nuoro. Please note: since 2025, Italy has banned the sale of hemp flowers and their derivatives, a measure being challenged in the courts.
Is CBD legal in Sardinia?
In Italy, Law 242/2016 had paved the way for "cannabis light", hemp flowers from EU-approved varieties with low THC levels. However, Article 18 of the security decree (Decree-Law 48/2025 of April 2025, converted by Law 80/2025) bans the processing, distribution, sale, transport and shipping of hemp flowers and their derivatives (extracts, resins, oils), even with low THC levels. The law is being challenged in the courts. The Council of State referred the matter to the Court of Justice of the EU in November 2025. At least three judges (Brindisi, Trani, Brescia) have referred it to the Constitutional Court, and many seizures have ended with the goods being returned. As of summer 2026, Article 18 remained in force pending these rulings: the situation is therefore uncertain, and you should check with each shop what it offers.
